Celebrating the inherent beauty of Grande Prairie, Muskoseepi gets its distinctive name from a Cree word for Bear Creek. The park was established to protect the land and keep it as a destination for both locals and visitors.

The six areas of the park are Bear Creek Reservoir, Muskoseepi Park, Bear Creek Corridor, Trail System, South Bear Creek, and Crystal Lake. Each region of the park provides its own special set of offerings. There’s something in this park for everyone; you just need to seek out the area that best suits your interests.
Choose Your Passion
Whether you like to hike, fish, bike or walk, the park offers something for everyone. The pond is fully stocked every May and the fishing here is free. For those under 16 or over 65 years of age can fish here without a license. Bocce and lawn bowling enthusiasts can take in the fully fenced outdoor facility. An 18 hole disc golf course is another sporty option. Picnic goers also have ample opportunity to find an idyllic spot at Muskoseepi.
